Basic security, remote connections, and environment variables

After a very brief introduction to fundamental security concepts, Yann will explain how to use SSH and GnuPG keys to manage remote connections and sign/encrypt emails. As these aspects heavily use environment variables, they will serve as an introduction towards a deeper understanding of the latter and their role when compiling and running scientific software.
