This proposal is dedicated to the development of novel theoretical and numerical methods applied to outstanding problems in nano-materials, environmental science and energy conversion and harvesting. The project will build on the strength of new approaches to the investigation of non-equilibrium dynamics of quantum system that I have recently helped in establishing.

Objectives

The main objective of this proposal is to develop and expand the theory of open quantum systems with focus on the development of novel techniques to investigate the electronic thermal and charge transport in real devices.
