The conference registration also includes Psi-K membership, and all attendees are invited to register at http://psi-k.net/ to take advantage of their membership benefits.

Only registered participants will be allowed to participate in the conference. The on-line registration for the conference is now open. Please follow the registration link to register for the conference. Please note that the registration interface requires you to create and sign in with a user name and password. After the name and password have been assigned, you must still fill in the actual registration form for the conference.

The same user name and password allows you to submit abstracts (see abstract submission section). There is no need to pay the registration fee to submit your abstract.

After the Scientific Committee has evaluated all abstracts, you will receive an email to know if your abstract has been chosen to be a contributed talk or to be a poster (see Poster Instructions section).  

Attention: Our online registration will be closed on August 24, 2015. If you still wish to register thereafter, that is no problem. However, please do so directly at the conference, at the registration counter, upon your arrival at the conference venue. As noted below, the on-site registration fee is EUR 575 EUR.-, which must be paid in cash.

Fees and deadlines:

  • Registration before May 15, 2015: 450 EUR.
  • Registration on or after May 15, but before August 24: 525 EUR.
  • On-site registration: 575 EUR.

Payments should be made by bank transfer, such that ANY possible fees are covered by the participant. Any fees deducted on our end must be paid in cash upon registration. PAYPAL payments have a charge of 20 EUR which must be paid in cash upon registration

Please note that the conference participation (excluding exemption of payment) is only possible after having registered and paid the registration fee completely. Should the money not be credited in time (in case of bank transfer) the participant is required to pay the outstanding amount on-site (cash only) in order to get access to the conference.

All on-site payments to the conference (full on-site registration, missing partial registration fee amounts, etc.) must be made in cash. In particular, we are unable to accept any credit card payments.

The conference fee covers:

  • Entrance to the entire 2015 Psi-K program, including all meals, coffee breaks, reception and the outing.
  • Conference material
  • Psi-k Membership.

Some financial support is available for conference participants, particularly students and young postdocs. The application deadline for financial support is June 1, 2015.

To apply for support, you must provide the following information:

  • One A4 page containing: Your name, your institution including the department (full address), the name and complete email address of your supervisor, a brief statement why you need support, and a short (five-line) summary of your research subject and project. In addition, you should include the amount of support required (in Euros). This letter (in pdf format) should be sent by email to: psik2015@ehu.es
  • A confidential reference letter by your supervisor should be sent directly by her/him to: psik2015@ehu.es
  • You MUST have submitted a contributed abstract to be eligible for financial support.

We stress that it is the responsibility of THE APPLICANT to make sure that ALL requested material is provided. This concerns especially the supervisor's reference letter and the submitted abstract. We will be unable to issue separate requests for such material if it does not reach us in time. Incomplete or late entries will not be considered.

We will do our best to accommodate all legitimate support requests, but please note that we may be unable to fulfil every request completely.

After June 1st, all the support applicants will be informed of the outcome of their applications. All granted support bursaries will be paid out in cash directly at the conference.


Once 20% of the registration fee has been paid, the refund of the full amount paid in case of cancellation or no-show, will be studied on a case by case basis.

We will not be able to make any support payments before the conference has started.


Cancellations have to be made to the Technical Secretariat, Ercisa, in writing only. In case of cancellation of a full participation until August 1, 2015 the full registration fee (minus any bank transfer fees) can be refunded. After August 1, 2015 only 50% can be refunded. Please note that any bank transfer charges will be deducted from the amount, i.e., the participant has to pay the bank transfer charges.


The organizers reserve the right to make changes to the program, social program and of all other information provided. Neither the organizers nor the Technical Secretariat, Ercisa, are liable for any losses, accidents or damage to persons or objects, regardless of the cause. Participants and accompanying persons are attending the congress and all accompanying events at their own risk and responsibility.
