Research Information

Research Overview

My background orbits around two closely interlinked topics:

(1) the rational design of molecular nanomagnets for quantum computing and molecular spintronics.
(2) the understanding of the mechanistic details of decoherence in molecular spin qubits based on mononuclear rare-earth complexes.

The main objective of my current research at Nano-bio spectroscopy group is the development of a full theoretical and computational framework for the rational design of a new generation of hybrid molecular/2D nanodevices with the aim of coupling coherently distant molecular spin qubits via new induced topological superconducting phases that can be tuned by chemical engineering.
